flying ?

"Everybody's looking for a something
One thing that makes it all complete"

But most of the time, we dunno wat we looking for..
Even if we do, we yearn to get it only to end up much disappointed.
maybe, it isn't as bad not looking for it,
maybe, being incomplete has greater fortune than being complete.
how do we know we'll b happy?
Afterall, we have never been complete.

So i guess,
be contented.

"Who can deny the joy it brings
When you've found that special thing
You're flying without wings"

yes, so i agree that i enjoy d feeling of bliss, of flying, a feeling so lovely u thought this must be paradise...
when i do eventually find that thing. (if i do find it that is)
But..
have u ever considered losing it after finding it?
(*pause* a mtv caught my eye... entitled breaking up twice)
have u ever considered losing much more in d process of finding?
have u ever considered that when u find it, it may no longer fit?

So...
you may fly, so up high.
but it only means that when u fall, it hurts much more.
you will fly, in a state of bliss.
but unless it lasts, it's but part of memories.
you found it, u wanna fly.
but realised, things have changed.

Nope, i'm not cynical.
u think I jus see the bad things?
maybe u r bias.
I know myself better. I dun jus think, I am.

I jus learnt the realities of life.
I understand the expectations.
to bring myself to earth, to be wiser, to know the world a little better.
Cuz I think,
it's not abt optimissim or pessimism,
it's abt life.
and life ain't abt lies.

"Some find it sharing every morning
Some in their solitary lives
You'll find it in the words of others
A simple line can make you laugh or cry

You find it in the deepest friendship
The kind you cherish all your life
And when you know how much that means
You've found that special thing
You're flying without wings"

I did fly, and I remembered flying.
I'll keep looking or else life loses its meaning.
nevertheless, I'll keep in mind it's not just abt looking...

cuz what u have is as good as what u dun have,
sometimes even better.
