one gd scrub.

din slp a wink last night.

cleaned my room for 6hrs str... frm 120am all the way to 715am.
had a bathe & headed for 3hrs of coaching.
came back, collected my freshly-washed bedsheets & did laundry again after a 2nd bath.
Jus had lunch & now awaiting slp to dawn on me.

Doing hsework does immerse one in such intense concentration
it literally takes ur mind off everything else.
I srubbed hard, went on my knees.
Trust me when I say there's not a speck of dust to been seen.
(except on d ceiling lights & top of d door which were far beyond my reach)
other than tat,
d ceiling fan, corners, table, compartments, wardrobe, windows... every drawer was emptied out, cleaned & packed.
I even carried my mattress off my bed so I could clean the bed itself.
It's not an exaggeration if I say I went to change my bucket of water 30times.
That's d min no of times I went to the toilet in a single night.
I dun mop d floor, I literally went on my fours, equipped with a piece of rag was all I need.
That accounts for my terrible backache right now.
I washed everything u can ever think of.
bedsheets, comforter, comforter sheet, pillow casing, mats...
not forgetting when u do laundry, u have to collect & hang it out to dry.
think I did 8 trips to the laundry room in total.
Each trip back & forth cost me 6 flights of stairs, u can do the rest of the calculation.

I dun think I ever did so much hsework in my life, with such stringent demand & focus.
I must be out of my mind
(which was my very intention.)

so d next time u wanna tk ur mind off some stuffs,
vent some frustrations,
rid of some bitterness,

give ur room a gd scrub.
that's what u need...
one gd scrub & it'll leave u too drained for anything else.
n like a slping beauty u'll be rid of any fatigue.

PS: not forgetting u have one heavenly-cleaned room awating ur embrace =)
