wat's d best way to vent ur anger & frustrations?
According to d limited psych theories & concepts I've learnt,
it's unwise to repress ur emotions.
who knows I may jus develop a personality disorder, mood disorder..
& yes, there's plenty of disorders out there.
So, I can start by tackling the cognitive aspect of my problem..
some options I have:
cognitive restructing- correct any cog distortions I have
improve on my sense self-efficacy & internal locus of control
change my attributional & coping style
goal-settings
but sorry,
I'm not exactly in the mood to probe or invest any mental energy at this point in time.
Anyway, they require a time-lag which is not what I want.
I want immediate gratification.
I can also choose to tk on the behavioural perspective:
reinforcements
modeling
but they sorta require the help of a third-party.
Or, it is said that a combination of both is d ideal
Cognitive-behavioural therapy:
desensitization thru the use of
relaxation therapy- progressive muscle relaxation, imagery etc
tried. ineffective.
Other solutions include:
emotional disclosure (which is exactly wat I'm doing now, except that it's on a blog)
social support
medication- stimulants, anti-depressants (I've lack of access to such drugs at d moment, maybe I'll get my hands on it if I do become a practioner oneday. attempted a modified version of stimulants but to no avail.)
Hence I shall conclude,
I'll develop a personality disoder for the time-being...
until help is given at further notice.
(of cuz, there are plenty of other solution which I can't recall.
or maybe, I dun wish to.)
I officially diagnose myself to be suffering from antisocial persoanlity disorder with effect frm 6th May, 12.02pm.
Patient visit is not recommended for the benefit of society's greater good.
