Happy Valentine's Day.

I wonder wat's the origin of Valentine's Day.

Is Valentine a person?
-sounds like. afterall, I've heard of the name Valentino.
Or issit an event?
-like Xmas.
Or issit the 1st day of some god-knows calendar?
-like Lunar New Yr.
I hope it's not some commerce-driven gimmick,
that'll mk me sad & disappointed.

I'll like to know the significance of the day that makes the world go goo-goo-ga-ga.
Even if it doesn't concern me,
it's always heartening to know pple are happy.
Or maybe it's a historical day worth remembering
like the Mooncake festival or an anniversay.
It's nice to know the past is not forgotten
may it be an incident or someone beloved.
I guess that's how legend lingers.

Well, I look forward to special days
I love it more if it's a happy day =)

But each day is already unique on its own.
I believe it's up to individual to make it special & memorable.
I need not wait for someone by the name of Valentino
to decide today is special for me.

so maybe I'll have a special name for each of my 365days.
I think that's a pretty cool idea.

happens to be Valentine's Day!!!

That serves another happy reason to mk today a special day, even though the tattoos will go in 7days.)

There are singles ard me who feel sad on Valentine's day.
It's really disturbing.
How can someone feel sad just cuz some stranger deems today a day not for u?

1. It's a day to celebrate love!
If u have family & frens, u can celebrate love.

2. Happy Friendship Day.

small notes, chocs, hand-made roses, teddy bear & gifts...

maybe it's a gal's things but I love them anyway.

3. A perfect day to say the magic words,'I love U', or give a kiss & hug to ur dearies w/o feeling all mushy.

4. Love songs everywhere.

I can fall in love jus listening to them, esp now...

5. Romance movies.

need I say more? I'm a sucker for it.

6. A chance to shower love on ur crush
w/o cracking ur brain for an excuse. haha

7. There is no need for a perfect gift/date
if it's not ur partner, anything also can.

8. U get to flaunt ur singlehood with ur single frens & ostracise the rest!
mk them jealous by organising drinking parties, kissing games, chionging session
cuz u r single & available but they are attached & obligated =p

9. Feel happy that the world is still celebrating Vdae
with disasters, poverty & war... love should nv be taken for granted.

10. No one but only u can decide which is a special day for u.
the significance of each day lies in u.
