How much luck do we need in order for us to be unlucky?
Considering the probability of bumping into ur lost-long childhood fren is equivalent to that of bumping into a long-lost enemy...
That will require some strokes of luck, isn't it ?
I guess it is in the absence of luck, which is the default functioning of life based on random distribution, it is then more appropiately known as
un-lucky.
That means on the continuum of luck, on both ends require the stringent condition of extreme fate, where one leads u to the positivity of events while the other throws u into the duncheon of negativity.
In between, there is simply a lack of luck.
Hence following the above logic, the:
1) instantaneous death of my handphone
2) striking of bird's dropping on my face & shoulder
3) delay of lunch orders
in a matter of 1hr...
I must be terribly lucky today!
Or am I suppose to interprete some subtle message sent from a higher-order being?
In any case, I'm mourning for the loss of my 2yrs worth of personal sms n pics that have passed on with the death of my phone. =(
I'm beyond reach for at least the next 1wk, or more accurately till I've decided to get a new hp.
After all, a new hp can't replace the memories of the old.
Or should I say,
it's not right to have a new love with the passing of the old.
